Dusty frame

This week's Photo of the Week accolade has been awarded to an action-packed shot of a rally car taking a sharp turn.

The image, taken by ePHOTOzine member clausaresu is titled 'Dusty frame' and here's why we thought it deserved to win the accolade:

This is a sharp shot of a car that would have been moving at some speed - a feat in its own right but this image also possesses the 'wow' factor thanks to the impressive dust cloud that the tyres have kicked up.

The crop of the image means that the background of the shot is purely made up of the dust-cloud and some banking on the left-hand side. The only bright colours are therefore those of the car, keeping the eye on the main subject of the image. The image has also been composed well, with the car filling the bottom of the frame and plenty of space at the top to take in the textures of the dust cloud.

Photo of the Week winners will receive a 64GB EVO Plus MicroSD card with SD adapter courtesy of Samsung. See all the images that have been awarded the accolade in the POTW gallery
