Red Digital Camera, the guys who once said they would 'replace the DSLR', have seriously simplified their camera line-up to only offer 3 camera models that are powered by the same 'brain'.

No matter which Red Digital Camera you now chose, they all share the same DSMC2 'brain', it's just the sensor that differs.

The most powerful camera in the range is the MONSTRO 8K VV which offers full-frame lens coverage, 17+ stops of dynamic range and can capture 35.4MP stills.

Next up is the HELIUM 8K S35 that offers less dynamic range with 16.5+ stops in a Super 35 frame, plus, it is the recipient of the highest DxO score ever.

The final camera in the new trio line-up is the GEMINI 5K S35 that offers dual sensitivity modes: Standard and Low Light.

Prices range from $19,500 (around £15,000) to $54,500 (around £41,000) and all three cameras are available now from the RED Digital Camera website
