Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro - Redmi's first flagship smartphone range.
| Camera PhonesXiaomi has introduced its first-ever Redmi flagship smartphones (Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro) with a 48MP triple AI camera and an eye-catching design.
The Redmi K20 Pro and K20 feature a 6.39-inch Full-Screen Display, 20MP pop-up front camera and a rear 48MP triple camera setup. Both smartphones also feature a flamed texture on the four-sided curved glass back
Offering an AI triple camera setup, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro feature a main 48MP camera with 1/2″ Sony flagship sensor. For night portraits, the camera sensor supports merging four pixels to form large 1.6μm pixels to capture more details in low-light conditions. In addition to the 48MP main camera, the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro also feature a 13MP ultra wide-angle lens and 8MP telephoto lens.
On the front is a 20MP pop-up front-facing camera with a sapphire glass cover. When the front camera is raised, it will display lighting effects and is accompanied by one of six sound effects. The light ring on top acts as a notification light for incoming messages and charging status.
Both smartphones are powered by a 4000mAh battery but the Pro version has a slightly better chipset and there's a headphone jack built-in on both devices.
Available in 2 colour options, the smartphones will be released in China on 1 June 2019. Prices are listed as £286 for the Redmi K20 Pro (6GB+64GB) and £229 for the Redmi K20 (6GB+64GB). Other memory options are also available.
