Kenro has announced the immediate availability of a new desktop 35mm film scanner - the RPS 10M.
The latest negative and slide scanner from Reflecta has a resolution of 10,000 dpi and a dynamic range of 4.2 Dmax. It takes 7 mins to scan at full resolution and features 24-bit colour depth.
It features Magic Touch - a hardware-based dust and scratch removal system - as well as an auto transport system for film strips (from 3 up to 36 images). The light sources are white and infrared LEDs and the image sensor is Linea Colour CCD.
The Reflecta RPS 10M has a USB interface and uses an external power adapter and works with PC or Mac computers. Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 is also included.
The RPS 10M has an SRP of £696 including VAT.
