Remove red-eye with MGI PhotoSuite

Whe you take photos with flash you often encounter the common photo nightmare - red eye.  This problem can be removed quickly and easily in MGI PhotoSuite 4.

Remove red-eye with MGI PhotoSuite


1 Select Prepare from the Navigation Bar.

Select Touchup from the Activity Panel on the left. Then select Remove Red Eye .

Once you select Remove Red Eye , the Activity Panel will change to provide step-by-step instructions. Follow them to remove the red eye from your photo:

3 Zoom into your photo so that you can see the eyes clearly.

Use the slider to re-size the tool as necessary to the size of the eye pupil. The tool is represented on the screen as a circle with a cross hair in the middle.

Size the tool so it is the same size as the red part of the eye.

Click on the eye as many times as required, and then click on return to get back to the Prepare menu.

What's especially nice about the red eye removal tool in PhotoSuite 4 is that it works by extracting the red hue from the eye. Some programs remove the red by painting the area black. This is not ideal, as the natural highlights in the eye are lost.
As you can see, this little girl has beautiful blue eyes.
