Printer Paper

Slavich Company black & white photographic printing papers now available.

Retro Photographic is now distributing photographic papers from Slavich Company located in Russia. Slavich Company stems from the foundation of Russia's first cine film factory, established in Pereslavl-Zalessky, north of Moscow, in June 1931 and has been producing specialist industrial films and photo papers for the professional and amateur since then.

Retro Photographic is marketing the Bromportrait 80 BP, Beryozka, Unibrom160 BPand Bromexpress 400BP papers.. Bromportrait 80 BP, Unibrom 160 BP and Bromexpress 400 BP are traditional graded, fibre based papers using chloro-bromide and iodochlorobromide formulation emulsions. Beryozka is a graded RC paper of middle weight.

Nigel Dear of Retro Photographic comments "In keeping with our quest to source and market the more unusual black and white products, we are very pleased to be able to offer these very different photographic papers from Slavich Company. The Bromportrait 80 paper has a traditional emulsion on a quite heavy (276sm/m2) FB paper base giving a warmish tone image, the semi-soft grade yielding a very soft image tone, quite 70's, and the silk finish is nicely textured almost like an embossed paper"'. He adds "although we announced these papers back in October last year, it is only now that they have actually arrived in the country and are in stock. I am pleased to say that the interest generated has been very high and we have been busy fulfilling orders taken before the papers were in stock".

The papers are available directly from retro photographic ltd on 0800 915 97 51 or www.retrophotographic.com
