Sagem entered the UK set top box market earlier this year with a range of value for money' Freeview boxes earning them a first class European reputation, and is now set to expand the line-up even further. The new ITD66 will be launched with a unique photo card feature that allows users to view digital photos on their TV screens.
The Sagem ITD66 is the first digital Freeview receiver with a photo card reader, and the company predict it will be the next must-have accessory for the ever-growing number of digital camera users. As well as receiving all the digital Freeview channels users can also view, edit, share and personalise digital photos on their TV without the need for a PC. Simply insert a memory card* into the card slot and use the remote control to create personalised photo albums of your digital photos.
Joe Gurney, Marketing Manager says, The growth in the digital camera market is huge and with this growth comes a need for a practical, easy way to manage photos. Downloading pictures on a computer is one option but it is often tedious. Computers have small screens and are usually housed in the office or a small study at home, which more often than not is occupied by other members of the family. However, TVs have screens in excess of 27 and are usually located in the most comfortable room in the house, making it easy for friends and families to share and enjoy photos together.
The ITD66 has the same sleek design as the ITD58, 62 and 64, is feature rich, quick and easy to set up and the EPG is seven day ready. It also boasts digital audio output, RF in and RF loop, has both a TV and VCR scart and comes complete with scart lead.
* The ITD66 comes complete with a universal memory adapter.
