Samsung Announces The Samsung Galaxy A71 & Galaxy A51

The new budget-friendly smartphones from Samsung feature four cameras, Infinity-O Display and long-lasting batteries.

The budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy A smartphone series has 2 new additions, the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51, which bring enhanced features, a smarter camera and decent batteries.


On the back of both smartphones, you find the main camera along with an Ultra-Wide, Macro and Depth cameras which, when combined with intelligent features, gives you a rather impressive camera line-up. Selfie fans can capture self-portrait with the 32MP f/2.2 camera which is cut into the display, coming with the name 'Infinity-O Display'. 

The main camera captures images with a 64-megapixel camera on the Galaxy A71 and a 48-megapixel camera on the Galaxy A51. The Ultra-Wide camera has a 123-degree angle lens, giving you the same peripheral vision as the human eye and if the shot requires it, the intelligent switch function recommends Wide Shot and will automatically switch it on for you.

With Super Steady Video you can now shoot smooth and stable videos and the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 come with a large 4,500mAh and 4,000mAh battery respectively so you can use your phone longer throughout the day. Plus, fast charging is available. 

Both the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 offer Super AMOLED edge-to-edge Infinity-O displays with a screen size of 6.7-inch and 6.5-inch, respectively.

 

Pricing & Availability 

The Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 will be available to purchase in the UK from 7 February 2020, price TBC. You can also still purchase the Samsung Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A50 which the Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51 update.
