Samsung Continue Sponsorship Of Photo Of The Week : Samsung memory card

ePHOTOzine is pleased to announce that Samsung will be continuing its sponsorship of Photo of the Week in 2017.

From January, winners of the Photo of the Week (POTW) accolade will receive a Samsung MicroSD PRO Plus 32GB memory card with an SD adapter that can be used with multiple devices.

The Samsung MicroSD Pro Plus 32GB features a UHS-1 interface with a Class 10 rating, read speeds up to 95 MB/s, write speeds up to 90 MB/s and is the ideal choice for 4K UHD cameras and camcorders. The memory card comes with a 10-year limited warranty and to ensure the reliability of the new memory cards, Samsung has designed it to be waterproof, shockproof, magnet proof, temperature proof and X-ray proof.

Samsung Memory Cards can survive up to 72 hours in seawater, endure temperatures from -25° to 85° Celsius and can resist magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss - the equivalent of a high-field MRI scanner. They're also very tough as the can survive extremely high levels shock up to 1,500g. (g: gravitational acceleration).

Commenting on the Samsung PRO Plus microSD cards, Samsung said: "Samsung’s PRO Plus microSD cards are  ideal for use in smartphones and tablets, as well as fulfilling the security, capacity, performance and environment requirements inherent in newly emerging audio and video consumer electronics, specifically action cameras and drones that are capable of 4K video recording and demand fast read and write speeds to avoid lag when transferring files and capturing video. The Samsung MicroSD PRO Plus 32GB memory card features a UHS-1 interface with a Class 10 rating, read speeds up to 95 MB/s, write speeds up to 90 MB/s and come with a 10-year limited warranty.

In addition to great read and write speeds the micro SD PRO plus memory cards offer Samsung’s 4-proof technology so they are *waterproof,  temperature proof, X-ray proof and magnet proof. This means these cards can withstand some of the harshest conditions, so no matter where you are in the World or whatever you are doing, rest assured your photographic memories will remain safe and secure. Samsung’s micro SDHC PRO plus memory cards are guaranteed to survive up to 24 hours in seawater and endure operating temperatures from -13°F to 185°F and non-operating temperatures from- 40°F to 185°F (-25°C to 85°C and -40°C to 85°C, respectively). Data in the cards will not be affected by X-ray machines and they can resist up to 15,000 gauss magnetic force."

The Photo of the Week is chosen each week by the team here at ePz towers - to be considered for the award all you need to do is submit an image to the Gallery.

Good Luck and we'd like to thank Samsung for their continued support.
