Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra Smartphones Announced

Samsung's 2022 Unpacked event has taken place where its latest line-up of premium S series smartphones - Galaxy S22 - have been unveiled. 

As we've come to expect from Samsung, the Galaxy S22 range features 3 smartphone options: S22, S22+ and the S22 Ultra which actually remind us a lot of the Samsung Galaxy Note Series. 

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the premium model of the series with a low light camera mode aptly named Nightography and it also has advanced video capabilities as well as battery life that Samsung says will last over a day. There's also an S Pen included (as we used to see on the Note series). 

Both the Samsung Galaxy S22+ and S22 feature impressive cameras with clever AI but aren't quite as expensive as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra so might have wider appeal.

The Galaxy S22+ and S22 will be available from 11 March 2022 (pre-order available from today) at the following prices:

• Galaxy S22+ RRP: 128GB, 8GB RAM - £949, 256GB, 8GB RAM - £999
• Galaxy S22 RRP: 128GB, 8GB RAM - £769, 256GB, 8GB RAM - £819

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available from 25 February 2022 (pre-order available from today) at the following prices: 

• 128GB, 8GB RAM - £1149
• 256GB, 12GB RAM - £1249
• 512GB, 12GB RAM - £1329
• 1TB, 12GB RAM - £1499
