Galaxy S7 Edge

Samsung has announced the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge at the Mobile World Congress 2016.

The S7 and S7 edge introduce the first dual pixel camera on a smartphone, allowing them to deliver brighter and sharper images even in low light. The rear camera is a dual pixel 12-megapixel sensor with smart OIS while the front camera has a 5-megapixel sensor.

The S7 and S7 edge also have a wider aperture than their predecessors at f/1.7 rather than f/1.9. The pixels are slightly bigger too which also helps in the low light department. They're capable of faster shutter speed and more accurate autofocus even in low light.

Motion Panorama is a new feature introduced, which adds movement to traditional panoramas giving a more immersive visual experience.

The phones are both water resistant and can take microSD cards to make the memory space larger, both features that users missed on the S6 and S6 edge.

The S7 and S7 edge will be available from mid-March 2016. No pricing has been announced as yet.
