The Samsung USB 3.0 Flash Drive Duo is a USB pen drive that can be used with a smartphone with MicroUSB or with a computer with a USB2 or USB3 socket. Available in a number of different sizes, the drive could make an easy way to get files from one device to another.

If you've ever wanted a quick and easy way to get images or other files on or off your smartphone or tablet, then the Samsung USB 3.0 Flash Drive Duo may be what you're looking for. The metal USB drive features USB 3.0 for your computer, and a Micro-B type USB connection, aka MicroUSB, on the other end for smartphones and tablets. The drive is said to give transfer speeds up to 130MB/s.

The drive is waterproof, shockproof, magnet proof, temperature proof and x-ray proof. The drive comes with a 5-year warranty. There is a plastic lid for when you don't need to use the MicroUSB slot on the smartphone. There's a small hole so that you can attach it to a keychain or keyring. As with all USB drives and memory cards, ejecting the drive before pulling it out is recommended.

The drive is small, and being made out of metal it looks good. The build quality is good, feeling well built, and the metal feels tough. The plastic cap can be easily taken off the MicroUSB port and features a hole in case you want to keep it on your keyring.

The performance of the pen drive, when used in a USB 3 socket, is very good, offering quicker read speeds than the box says. This should make it fast enough for most things.
