A long exposure of the Northumberland coastline at dawn has won ePHOTOzine's 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) title this week.

The long exposure has calmed, what would have been a busy active sea with crashing waves, with the sunrise adding some warmer tones to the image. The composition gives us an image that stands out, giving us a calming view, in times of uncertainty. The somewhat bleak view is perhaps apt for the state of the World at the moment, however, the photo is open to interpretation, and could be seen as the rising sun bringing a new day.
