A beautiful image of a serene misty sunrise over a loch has been awarded the POTW accolade this week.
The image 'Loch Rusky' by ePz member AndyB1976 was chosen by the team to win the accolade, and here's why we thought it stood out from the crowd:
This is a really calm image that has some wonderful peachy tones, which only appear for a short time during the ever altering colours of a sunrise. The reflections of the trees in the water add a sense of balance and the image has been composed well, to allow the beautiful colours of the sky to be present at both the top and bottom of the frame.
The pair of boats add a focal point to add further interest to the scene and the rising mist above them creates an ethereal, fresh feel. A truly stunning sight to behold.
