Serif have announced version 1.8 software updates for their suite of apps, including Affinity photo.
| Other SoftwareSerif has announced a big update to its Affinity apps, which includes Affinity Photo.
Version 1.8 will bring the following main features to Affinity Photo:
- PSD import now includes smart object support, maintaining the full resolution and editability of layers within any object.
- Affinity Photo and Designer on iPad get the ability to customise keyboard shortcuts, in the same way as you can on Windows and Mac.
- Affinity Photo now has full compatibility with the latest Nik Collection plug-ins, following a collaboration between Affinity developers and Nik owner DxO.
Other feature improvements and additions include an updated Pantone library, lens correction improvements, better metadata handling and Canon CR3 RAW support.
