Affinity photo 1.8

Serif has announced a big update to its Affinity apps, which includes Affinity Photo

Version 1.8 will bring the following main features to Affinity Photo:

  • PSD import now includes smart object support, maintaining the full resolution and editability of layers within any object.
  • Affinity Photo and Designer on iPad get the ability to customise keyboard shortcuts, in the same way as you can on Windows and Mac.
  • Affinity Photo now has full compatibility with the latest Nik Collection plug-ins, following a collaboration between Affinity developers and Nik owner DxO.

Other feature improvements and additions include an updated Pantone library, lens correction improvements, better metadata handling and Canon CR3 RAW support.

More information on the updates introduced today can be found on the Affinity website
