Servigroup Hotels have announced the winner of their Colours of Summer
photography competition. There were 1,200 entries and on the 25th November, Francesca Piras was selected as the winner.
Following the great success of the third Servigroup Hotels photography competition, with more than 1,200 entries, on the 25th November 2009, members of the jury met at the hotel chain’s central reservations office to select the winning photos of this year’s competition: It was a very difficult decision due to the ever increasing quality, number and variety of photos presented.
Participants have been from all over the world, some of them even being photography professionals, such as the Indian press photographer, last year's winner.
The winning photos are:
- 1st prize: Naranja como los juegos de niños by Francesca Piras
- 2nd prize: Las medusas no pican by Elisenda Llauradó Vilà
- 3rd prize: Bahía de luz by Rodrigo Toré Vivar
- Consolation prize: Ellas by Ignacio Álvarez ce Barutell
The first prize is a 4 night stay for two people on full board at any of our hotels and an Olympus F3-3010 12Mp digital camera. The second prize a stay of 2 nights for 2 people on full board in any of our 4* hotels and a portable DVD Phillips PET721D with car adaptor; the third winner a stay of 2 nights for 2 people on full board in any of our 3* hotels. A consolation prize (4th prize) has been awarded of a Servigroup hotels promotional pack of products.
The jury was comprised of representatives from Servigroup, Claudia Vera, website manager; Natalia Caballé, manager of publicity and brand image and Pepi Llinares, from the publicity and communication department and the designers of IECISA: Carlos Matilla and Carlos Polo, as well as the photographer and journalist Mario Ayús, and graphic and interior designer Elena Yago.
