| Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art in Interchangeable Lenses
The new Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 Art lens offers a bright constant aperture of f/1.8, and will be of particularly interested for video or portrait photography, as well as low light sports. The APS-C lens will be available in Sigma, Canon and Nikon mounts. It can also be used with Sigma's new Mount Converter (MC-11) to let the lens be used on Sony E mount cameras, such as the Sony A7 Mark II shown below.

The Sigma SA-E Mount Converter (MC-11) lets you use Sigma SA mount lenses on Sony E mount cameras, and there is also a Canon EF version. The adapter lets you use auto-focus, and passes all aperture and shooting information to the camera. When we used the adapter with a Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 lens, focus appeared to be quite quick.
