Premium medium format camera manufacturer Hasselblad has announced that it is moving to a single manufacturing centre.
The company, which is currently based in Denmark and Sweden, plans to move all its production and service functions to Gothenburg, Sweden.
The move is part of a long term growth and efficiency strategy that was outlined last year by Hasselblad management.
Hasselblad CEO Dr. Larry Hansen said: "We plan to implement strategies that will continue to provide our customers with the premium quality service they expect from Hasselblad. In this case, we believe this is best achieved by managing this vital element of our business in the future from a single centre in Sweden. As a result, our deliveries will be more efficient and turnaround times for customers across the world will be reduced."
