The Pentax K-3 has smartphone support functions that can be accessed by installing the optional FLU card for Pentax 16 GB memory card.
The flu card enables the K-3 to gain Wi-Fi functionality, and is inserted in the SD card slot. It will enable you to transmit files to your smartphone and other Wi-Fi enabled devices.
When the flu card has been installed, the user will be able to release the K-3's shutter, check the live-view image, and browse and download the images recorded on the card using a smartphone.
The software supports smartphones operating on iOS6 or later and Android 4.2 or later. For more information on the features of the K-3, take a look at the Ricoh website.
