Flickr is now part of the SmugMug family after the photo-sharing site agreed to the photography platform's acquisition.
Those with Flickr accounts can still access the site with their current login details and nothing, for the moment, is changing as SmugMug has said that they will 'continue to work to make your Flickr experience even better.'
If you do not want your Flickr account and data transferred to SmugMug, you have until 25 May 2018 to download the photos and videos you want to keep, then delete your account from your Account Settings. If you do not delete your account by 25 May 2018, your Flickr account and data will transfer to SmugMug and will be governed by SmugMug’s Terms and Privacy Policy.
