Panasonic has announced that the company will release a software update for the S1 that will improve its video performance.
| Mirrorless CamerasThe video modes on the Panasonic S1 full-frame mirrorless camera will be upgraded this summer when Panasonic introduce a software upgrade.
Functions that will become available with the upgrade are as follows:
- 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 30p/25p 1 internal video recording
- 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 60p/50p HDMI output
- V-Log recording
To get the update, users need to pay for a software update key (more information will be available nearer the time of release).
