Why, when the primary advantage of this camera is speed and such speed will inevitably require high ISO on many occasions, are there no samples anywhere showing images at 12800, or 25600? This is let alone showing that it can still focus accurately and quickly in those conditions.
If it's nice and bright my A7Rii will focus very fast and sure, and if it's gloomy then the level of image noise is low. I need to know if I will gain significantly with the A9 if I'm going to lay out such large sums of money on the latest 'toy'! Quite why not one reviewer, experienced or otherwise, checked out such basic issues is quite beyond me.
Are we going to have to wait for the first lot of deliveries to see if our hopes are confirmed, or be buried by an avalanche of complaints?

A bit impatient - hasn't been reviewed yet, as far as I can see.
Not so much impatient as confused.
Sony had dozens of pros and reviewers to their significant launch and yet none of them seem to have tried high ISO.
If they did, they haven't mentioned it!
I just find that very odd, given the nature of the camera and that it is one of the main points of comparison for most new models.
