Sony has announced a new electronic viewfinder with 5.76million dots, and a 1600x1200 resolution.
| TechnologySony has announced a new 5.76 million dot OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF), beating the 4.4 million dot EVF found in the Leica SL. The UXGA resolution of 1600x1200 is the highest available in a 0.5inch EVF. The EVF is designed to offer improved resolution, as well as improved viewing angles, and quicker refresh speeds (up to 240fps), whilst also offering low power consumption.
The ECX339A OLED EVF has a planned shipment date November 2018, and samples have been available since January 2018, so it's possible that products are already being planned that include this new EVF.
