Sony Announce Zeiss 16-35mm Lens At Photokina 2014

Sony has announced a new Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm lens at Photokina 2014.

Sony has introduced a new Zeiss lens at Photokina 2014. 

The Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS lens is a full frame wide-angle zoom lens, and has a constant f/4 maximum aperture throughout the zoom range. 

The lens features Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating to minimise flare, and has built in OSS (Optical SteadyShot) image stabilisation, along with a dust and moisture resistant design. 

It has a minimum focusing distance of 28cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 0.19x. 

The Zeiss Vario -Tessar T* 16-35mm will retail at £1289. Further information including availability is yet to be announced. For more information, take a look at the Sony website

At last a native FE widey and at nearly 1300 it better be good. Hope Sony hurry up and release it and that there's no customary date slippage.
