We've been able to take full-size sample photos from the new Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master lens for Sony FE and E mount cameras. We used a Sony Alpha A7R Mark II, and photos were taken at Berlin Zoo, Germany. We previously had a hands-on look at the lens here, and Sony has release pricing information here.

Poor excuse of a review. Does anyone know of a better source of information than this? This seems like a waste of my time.

It's in reviews for some reason, but it's not a review, it's simply sample photos.

At the moment this is an unreleased lens and the photos are samples - no manufacturer is going to allow access to a sample release if there's a review on the back of it.

Once it's released I'm sure we can look forward to a decent full testing and review of the commercially available lens. If there's any fuller review available at the moment I wouldn't set too much store by it. You'll have to be patient, John.
The jpeg compression is really bad. Are you guys shooting raw?
