The Sony NEX-5T is this years update to the Sony NEX-5R and adds NFC for quick transfer of photos and easier setup of Wi-Fi connections, and the NEX-5 is the most popular model in the NEX range.

Sony says that the CSC market is still growing with 25% of the market worldwide growing from 2011 to 2012. The CSC market accounts for 18% of camera sales in Europe, and 25% in the UK. From their research they say buyers of Sony NEX cameras are previous Canon and Nikon Digital SLR users, now buying NEX cameras such as the Sony NEX-6, NEX-7, and Sony Cyber-shot RX1.

Available in black or white, the camera looks good and has a good sized textured grip. The camera is compact and feels very well built, with a function button, stereo mics, and command dial at the top.
