Sony Xperia XZ2 Features 4K HDR Video

Sony has announced that the Xperia XZ2 will headline its flagship range and it features 4K HDR Movie recording as well as Full HD 960FPS Super slow motion. 

On the Xperia XZ2, the screen measures 5.7” and it's an HDR Full HD+ display. It's also constructed from Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as well as a metal frame and it's designed to withstand spills and splashes.  

Inside the smartphone, you'll find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform as well as a large 3180mAh battery and intelligent camera control features such as Predictive Capture with motion and smile detection, Autofocus burst and Predictive Autofocus make taking photos easier. 

On the back, you will find a 19MP camera that features a 25mm wide-angle Sony G lens (f/2.0) and x8 digital zoom. The front camera 5MP camera features a 23mm wide-angle (f/2.2) lens. 

Other features that will be of interest to photographers include HDR Photo, quick launch and capture, an ISO range up to 12800 (rear camera), autofocus burst and SteadyShot with Intelligent Active Mode (5-axis stabilisation).

The Xperia XZ2 will be available in Liquid Silver, Liquid Black, Deep Green and Ash Pink. There's also a compact version of the smartphone (XZ2 Compact) available that has a slightly smaller screen. Both the Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact will be available globally from March 2018 both will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo.
