Sports Photography Using A Tamron SP 150-600mm Lens

Dierk Kowalke is a passionate sports photographer and lecturer in the subject at the University of Cologne. "People are often amazed when I attach Tamron's compact 150-600mm telephoto lens to my camera", he says. 

People find it difficult to believe that Dierk can achieve results similar to those from faster telephoto lenses using Tamron's ultra-telephoto offering. Dierk says his photos often draw the attention of his colleagues, who have to rub their eyes at the amazing results he can acheive.

• Think ahead - Sports photographers have to guess what's going to happen - if you can see the ideal scene with your eyes, it's usually too late. 
• Be inspired by others - Look at what others are doing and use that information to build your own style.
• Play with the camera - It's always good to experiment - there's always a delete button if the results don't look good!
