St Mary's Lighthouse At Sunset Wins 'Photo Of The Week'

kenwil's cracking image of St Mary's Lighthouse which almost looks like the apocalypse is arriving has won our 'Photo of the Week' (POTW) accolade. 

We love the colours in this shot with the strong sky and beautiful light on the lighthouse that makes it the focus for your eyes. We also love the silhouetted photographer to the left of the image which makes you wonder what type of image he/she has captured of the lighthouse, too. The setting and composition are perfect as is the powerful sky. St Mary's is a popular landscape photography spot so it's quite easy to capture something very similar to someone else at this location but this image goes to show how you can actually still do the very opposite and create something very unexpected.
