Dropping in for a fish
'Dropping in for a fish' by DOXHOPE

The winner of our Stealth Gear February 'Great Outdoors' Competition has been announced.

Congratulations go to ePHOTOzine member Bill Doherty, better known as DOXHOPE, who won with his stunning image of an Osprey plucking a fish out of the water.

DOXHOPE's image was picked by judges over at Stealth Gear, who had a really tough time picking a winner due to the sheer volume of great images. "In the end we chose the image 'Dropping in for a fish' because of the great timing of the capture and the aspect of survival in the great outdoors," the judges said.

Well done to DOXHOPE, who wins a Stealth Gear outdoor equipment bundle. Congratulations also to all those that made the shortlist. Have a look at all the shortlisted images here.

Take a look at the competitions page for two more chances to win big this month with Vanguard and Wacom.

Good luck!

Superb shot Bill and probably the one all wildlife photographers want to achieve. For once, a very rare occasion, I actually agree with the choice of the competition judges 100% but you had some serious competition there. Well done everyone.
