There's a temporary camera obscura popping up in Manchester that can be explored on the inside.

Next Friday (28 October 2016) those visiting Manchester will be able to view 2400 years of optical history by stepping inside a camera obscura.
When stepping inside the camera visitors will see an inverted projection of the world as originally viewed by Aristotle 2400 years ago.
As well as the obscura, built inside the waiting room, people will be able to try on the 'I-scura', a portable camera obscura that looks like a human eye which you can wear on your head.
The camera obscura will be built by world pinhole photography and obscura expert Justin Quinnell as part of the Manchester Science Festival.
Step inside a camera event details:
- Friday 28 October 2016
