A stunning image of the milky way above Dunnottar Castle in Scotland has been awarded the Photo of the Week accolade this week.

The image, entitled 'Dunnottar' was taken by ePz member GHGraham, and here's why we thought it deserved to win this week: 

This is a really breathtaking capture of a rugged and unique landscape, complemented by the deep blue and turquoise colours of that amazing starry sky. The paths on the ground lead the eye to the structures of the castle on top of the hill, and then on to the vastness of the stars. 

The image is well composed with the horizon line placed not quite halfway up, giving the sky the majority of the image yet still leaving the land plenty of breathing space.
