Here are 10 creative captures of urban wildlife entered into the recent Photocrowd photography competition.
| Animals / WildlifeWildlife photography isn’t just about remote settings and exotic beasts. In fact, wildlife is all around us, even in the most heavily developed urban areas. Photocrowd recently set a challenge where they wanted photographers to show them the urban wildlife they've caught on camera and there were some cracking entries.
Up for grabs was a 1-year foliopic Advanced website, plus a 1-year membership to ePHOTOzine and photographer Henrik Spranz was chosen as the overall winner with his shot of a wild rabbit jumping across rail tracks in Vienna.
The competition received 820 entries so do visit the Photocrowd website to take a look at all of the shots which feature foxes, owls, mice and many more animals that call urban settings home.
