For the fourth year in a row, the International Dronestagram contest has taken award-winning photography to new heights, asking photographers to share their best examples of aerial photography.

Around 8,000 entries were submitted into three competition categories: 'Nature', 'Urban' and 'People' by both professional photographers and amateur drone enthusiasts and entries were judged on their creativity, photographic quality and respect of the theme.

A special category was also introduced this year called 'Creativity' to reward the creativity of the Dronestagram community - the first social network dedicated to aerial photography and also the creators of the competition, supported by National Geographic.
