In the lead up to their presence at Focus On Imaging, Tamron UK has unveiled an exciting new social media platform. On Monday 25 February 2013 Tamron UK's Facebook page
went live, and offers plenty of news and editorial content as well as regular competitions, reviews of Tamron products, galleries of inspirational images and exclusive offers for fans.
To celebrate the launch month there will be a different themed photo competition each week for the next four weeks – with a total of four Tamron 18-270mm PZD
lenses up for grabs.
Fans can also expect regular inspirational images and editorial content and will be actively encouraged to share their own images taken with Tamron lenses. Editorial content will include techniques and advice such as step-by-step guides to creating indoor portraits, or how-to guides for light painting and better landscapes – all suitable photo challenges for Tamron lens users to enjoy.
As well as building and supporting a community of Tamron users, the Facebook page
provides a hub of information for all the latest brand news and product launches with information on up-to-date promotions and events at key retailers around the UK. Fans will also have access to exclusive ‘Tamron Testdrives’ which offer an insight to the performance of Tamron products, as well as independent magazine reviews and also customer support.

To thank their new fans, between 3-7 March 2013 Tamron UK will be giving away a free Crumpler PP70 compact camera pouch to the first 1000 'likes' at Focus on Imaging at the NEC in Birmingham. Fans of the page will be given a unique code which can then be exchanged for the gift at the Tamron stand (F10) in Hall 9 (while stocks last). Visitors to Focus on Imaging will also be able to become fans of the new Facebook page at the show and receive the gift.
