Tamron User Mark Warnes' Image Featured On Natures Best Photography Magazine: Mark Warnes

Mark Warnes is a Welsh nature and wildlife photographer that uses Tamron kit to capture his stunning images.

One of Mark's images has recently been chosen as one of the top 100 images submitted to the Yellowstone Forever 2016 photo competition. The competition aims to draw attention to the beautiful and magnificent Yellowstone National Park. The Yellowstone Forever Project aims to preserve and enhance the park for the future, ensuring it is present and as unspoilt as possible for generations to come.

Mark's image, above is taken in October 2015 from The madison Overlook on the West entrance road of Yellowstone. It is a beautiful misty scene that captures the peace and tranquility of the silhouetted fishermen as they indulge in their hobby catching cut throat trout. The image was taken with a Tamron 150-600mm lens

About capturing the image, Mark said:

"I was set up on the banks of the Madison River very early one cold autumn morning with a long lens attached to my camera hoping to catch some wildlife along the river in the morning mist. The area is a common area for Elk. As the sun began to warm the cold air and burn through the mist rising of the cold river, silhouettes of the fishermen started to appear as they stood on the banks of the river. As the mist lifted the scene began to glow golden-'the golden hour'".

Mark's image will also be featuring on the cover of Nature's Best Photography magazine, Spring 2017 edition.
