Tate Gallery removed nude photo of Brooke Shields - A photo of a 10-year-old Brook Shields has been removed from the Tate Modern Gallery after police pornography probe.
A controversial photograph of Brook Shields was removed by the Tate Modern after concerns were raised about it breaching child pornography laws.
Police visited the gallery yesterday and, according to reports, are waiting to see if the image is in breach of the Obscene Publications Act.
The photograph, taken by Richard Prince, shows Brook Shields naked and wearing make-up.
If the image had not been removed it would have gone on display today as part of the Pop Life: Art In A Material World exhibition.
