'The 8th Terry O'Neill Photography Award has been launched with a new mobile device category sponsored by The Royal Photographic Society and a revamped website.
The winners will have their work showcased in Terry O'Neill exhibitions in London and overseas, plus they will be featured in the Sunday Times Magazine. The winner will also receive £3000 and two runners-up £2000 and £1000 respectively. The winner of the mobile device category wins £500.

Deadline for entries is 31 November 2013: images must have been shot between 01 January and 31 November 2013. Standard cost of entry is £25 for a minimum of 3 and up to a maximum of 10 images. This price is reduced to £10 for students.
Winter days leave us with a shortage of daylight hours for photography but you don't have to venture far to photograph birds during this season, making them a perfect subject choice.
