The Antiparos International Photo Festival (AIPF) is delighted to announce that the headliner and guest of honour at AIPF 2020 will be Korean photographer Youngho Kang.
Youngho Kang was born in 1970 in Seoul, South Korea, where he is well known as a commercial photographer. Often called "The Dancing Photographer", he communicates with his models through dance, or very much as a conductor, with music always playing in the background.
The works exhibited at the AIPF are taken from his series "The Picture of the Photographer" and will be accompanied by a video presentation. For more information about Youngho Kang, take a look at his website.
Call For Submissions
Submissions for the Antiparos International Photo Festival are now open and will run until 27 March. The theme of this year’s festival is 'The Wild Side' and photographers wishing to submit work can do so on the AIPF 2020 website.
About The AIPF
The AIPF is held annually in July on the beautiful island of Antiparos in Greece. Once described as 'the world’s smallest international photography festival', the AIPF exhibits the work of 15 photographers carefully selected on the basis of technical and artistic merit. The AIPF draws photographers from around the world, with an emphasis on allowing young, up-and-coming talent to exhibit alongside experienced professionals.
