Canon has introduced a new Pixma printer which can be used away from the home or office as it's powered by a battery.
| Inkjet PrintersCanon has expanded its Pixma printer range with the new TR150 model which is battery powered so can be used on location when on shoots away from home.
the Canon Pixma TR150 features a 1.44-inch mono OLED screen, USB charging and the option to load custom templates. Plus, the battery has been improved so 330 pages can be printed from a single charge and when it does need charging, a full charge will take around 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Compatible with iOS and Android, users can print wirelessly either via the internet or through a 1-to-1 connection with the printer and a smart device.
A pigment black cartridge is used for prints along with a combined dye-based four-colour cartridge (cyan, magenta, yellow and black) and when the printer is running low on pigment black, the 'save black ink' mode reduces the use of black ink.
Pricing & Availability
The Canon Pixma TR150 with battery will go on sale in April 2020 priced at £249.99. A version without a battery is also available and this will retail at £219.99. Other all-in-one Canon printers in the Pixma range include the popular Pixma TS5050 printer priced at £59.99*.
