Eyes play an incredibly important role in portraits, as this top tutorial from the Light Club explains.
| Portraits and People
If you want to capture a powerful portrait, you need to concentrate on the eyes as when they're sharp and a catchlight is thrown in, you can capture an image that feels like it's looking right into your soul.
Catchlights can be artificial or natural (we have a tutorial on how you can create them) and, along with making eyes 'pop', they breathe life into portraits.
The lighting tool is discussed in the video tutorial, above, created by Light Club who, like with their previous tutorial, have used several famous images to show how catchlights work.
