| LG Q7 in Camera Phones
LG has introduced another new smartphone but this time, it's for the mid-range market and updates the Q series.
The LG Q7 updates the LG Q6 introduced last year and it features a 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio 2.5D Arc Glass display in a metal frame which sports a thin bezel and round-edge design.
On the front, the LG Q7 features an 8MP camera but if you want to take advantage of the 100-degree Super Wide Angle Lens, images can only be captured at 5MP. On the rear of the smartphone is a 13MP camera which is upgraded to 16MP if you purchase the Q7+ and both feature Phase Detection Auto Focus which is 23 percent faster than traditional autofocus.
Also new to the LG Q7 is Portrait mode that allows users to take selfies with blurred backgrounds and LG's QLens which uses AI technology for image recognition.
Other features include an IP68-certified water and dust resistance rating, fingerprint recognition, Hi-Fi quality audio, DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
The LG Q7 will be available in three configurations of Q7, Q7+ and Q7a, depending on the region and market, and the smartphone should be available from next month (price TBC).
