The Nikon 1 mirrorless cameras are now listed as discontinued but models are still available, while stocks last.
| Nikon 1 J5 in Mirrorless CamerasAfter a 'change in focus' and rumours circulating for a while, Nikon Japan has officially discontinued the Nikon 1 Mirrorless Camera System.
If you visit the Nikon Japan website, you'll see that all of the Nikon 1 cameras are now listed under 'discontinued line-up' and some retailers are no longer stocking the cameras either.
The Nikon 1 series was first introduced back in 2011 with the introduction of the Nikon 1 J1 and Nikon 1 V1 cameras. After the initial launch, several products followed but no new Nikon 1 series cameras or lenses were introduced after the release of the Nikon 1 J5 back in 2015.
Some of the Nikon 1 series cameras are still available over on Amazon UK with the Nikon 1 J5 currently priced at £441 (while stocks last).
