The Photography Show, held at the NEC in Birmingham from 21 -24 March, looks set to surpass last year’s attendance record of 30,003 visitors (BPA Audited). Having moved to Hall 5 (the largest at the NEC) the show will be stacked to the rafters with new exhibitors, iconic world famous camera brands such as Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm, Olympus, Sony, Panasonic and Leica and interactive live stages.

Here is a taste of what is on offer over this four-day celebration of photography:

Super Stage

The Super Stage theatre will play host to internationally recognised photographers, including Martin Parr, Don McCullin, Mary Ellen Mark, Simon Norfolk, Susan Meiselas, Tom Stoddart, Tim Flach, Michael Kenna and Lynsey Addario. Tickets for the 500 seater theatre are already selling fast, so if there’s a particular photographer you’d like to see don’t wait until the last minute, or you might be disappointed. Streetscape Stage - NEW for 2015

Street photography is one of the fastest growing genres in photography so The Photography Show has decided to bring the Street into the NEC. This urban scene will feature a range of professional photographers who will help you get the most out of your street photography. There will be lots of photo opportunities, so don’t forget to bring your kit to take advantage of the live action and learn how to take better shots.

Adobe Theatre

The Adobe Theatre is back for the second year. From exploring the basics of Lightroom and Photoshop to getting a handle on colour management, these expert-led sessions from Adobe experts will help you to master editing in no time. Check out the timetable to see who’s presenting and when.

Filmmaker Theatre - NEW for 2015

New exhibitor BlackMagic Design are sponsoring the new Filmmaker Theatre where experts will talk you through the skills, techniques, tips and tricks you need to capture great footage. Sessions are designed for all levels of ability. The timetable can be seen here.

Behind The Lens
A range of intimate workshops and seminars from highly respected industry professionals covering a range of genres, skills and techniques.
