From candid snapshots to sleek ad campaigns, mobile photography and social media has never been as influential as it is today. At The Photography Show 2017, the all-new Mobile & Social Stage line-up will inspire pros looking to use these popular methods and channels to enhance their businesses.
Taking place across four days (18-21 March 2017), the programme will include a look at modern social media for your business with Kevin Mullins and advice on why you should create behind the scenes content for your work, with Tommy Reynolds.
Audiences will hear first-hand from Darryll Jones, the creator of social media phenomenon, haveyouseenEric – Jones’s unlikely Instagram partner, a Stormtrooper named Eric. His unique story offers an insight into how he built up his Instagram community (104k followers) through quirky content that has led to numerous business opportunities.
Bert Stefani will take to the stage to explain why it’s not all about the numbers and why photographers should be using social media to reach the right people, in order to grow a photography business. Tips for becoming savvy with Facebook and Instagram advertising spend to ensure a real return on investment for your business will be discussed by communications expert, Jenny Johnston.
Sessions will also explore video content and the impact this can have on expanding a portfolio; Xanthe Berkeley’s ‘Creating films for social media’ will explain how to turn a spark of creation into reality in the world of moving image. Sessions on the Mobile & Social stage at The Photography Show are included in the show entry ticket fee and will take place on all four days of the show (18-21 March 2017).
