The Truth Is, There's Always A New Trick For Photographing An Old Dog

Did you know that one of the first photographs of a dog was captured in the 1850's? No, us neither but that's how Light Club open their latest video essay. 

You may recognise the name as the Light Club brought us interesting video topics such as 'the key to powerful portraits' and a 'secret rule of photography' we all now know about but in their latest creation, it's man's best friend that is taking centre-stage. 

The angle is slightly different to normal tutorials as the video explores the artist's journey through the evolution of creative dog photography, starting in the 1850's and moving chronologically through to modern day.

There's also an overall arching message in the video that, basically, uses the progression of dog photography as a way to say no matter how many times something has been photographed, you'll be able to find your own, original way to photograph it - get thinking.
