Josiah Launstein is just 13-years-old and rather than kicking a football around or playing on a games console, he spends his time capturing award-winning wildlife photographs.

He has already won several awards, the latest being a category winner in the Outdoor Photographer of the Year competition, and he's recently answered questions for CBC Arts so the world can learn a little more about him.

For a 13-years-old, Josiah has a lot of patience, a keen eye and the ability to sit very still and quiet for long periods of time (something most teenagers struggle with).

According to CBC Arts, his photography journey began when he was just 5-years-old when his dad gave him a camera to play with then a couple of years later, he started to take his hobby more seriously.

In the video, Josiah is seen photographing bighorn sheep and the way he quietly observes the animals, waiting for the perfect moment is something quite a few of us, who are much older than Josiah, can learn from.
