There's a website that can tell you what lens to buy from simply looking at what images you click on.

If you're wondering what lens you should buy next or know what you want but you just want to be 100% sure it's the right lens for you, there's a website tool out there that can help you.
whatthelens.com will show you several photos and all you have to do is click on the ones you like for the website to reveal what lens you should purchase. There's also a dropdown which features various camera manufacturer's names for you to select from so you can choose your favourite brand and there are also genre categories should you want to narrow down the types of images you see from the start.
Once you've selected 20 images, the website will show you a box with its recommendations in which includes a camera type as well as a couple of lens choices.

There's also a tool on another website that can tell you how an image was edited in Lightroom, should you find a photo that leaves you wondering 'How did they do that?'

The Panasonic recommendation was even worse as it came up with 20mm. All the photos seemed to be female fashion shoots. Hard to identify a user of gear for photographing distant birds and animals from those photos.
