Manfrotto has added a triplet of tripods to its popular Befree collection of tripods ideal for travel.
| Tripods, Monopods and Other SupportsManfrotto has expanded its travel tripod range with three new additions to the Befree Collection: Manfrotto Befree 2N1, Befree Nerissimo and Befree Live QPL.
The Manfrotto Befree 2N1 is an all-in-one solution that allows the tripod to be converted into a monopod and features a dedicated locking system to keep the tripod secure when in use. Plus, the conjunction cap on the centre column of the Befree 2N1 firmly connects the tripod leg to the tripod column.
To turn the tripod onto a monopod, you have to make a half-turn anticlockwise so a red rubber ring appears on the tripod leg. Once you see this, you know the monopod can be removed for use.
The Befree 2N1 is available from 15 September in two versions: the Quick Power Lock version with levers (RRP £199.95) and the M-Lock (RRP £199.95).
Up next is the Befree Nerissimo for advanced hobbyist photographers which is made from aluminium and has a matte black finish.
The Befree Nerissimo will be available exclusively online, via Manfrotto, from 1 October (RRP £174.95).
The final tripod in the trilogy is the Befree Live QPL with Quick Power Lock and a Lever which combines the construction elements of the Befree Advanced together with the fluidity of the Live head, to provide an increased level of stability. It has an RRP of £224.95.
