Get your images in for the RSPCA's young photographer of the year award as the competition closes soon.

The RSPCA wants your best animal photos and in return you'll get the chance to win a photography break with a top wildlife photographer. The deadline for entries is Monday 05 September 2011.

As well as the break, in each category there are amazing first and runner up prizes, including Membership of Whisperer PLUS+, complete with a nest box camera kit. Other prizes include Olympus cameras with a value of £500 and vouchers for Hamleys.

IPA Judge Joe Murphy is keen to get as many young people involved as possible. He said: "We want to see your stunning pictures of animals in all kinds of situations, from pets to wildlife and insects to birds. If you're thinking of entering, then now is the time to send us your best photos – don't delay."

There are three age categories for the competition and details on how to enter are available at RSPCA Young Photographer Of The Year.
